Program Description
This is a clinically oriented presentation exploring the causes leading to the explosive rise of chronic diseases. Before you can understand how to address such diseases, the history of a series of events leading up to such disease must be understood. Physiological, societal, iatrogenic and infectious causes of chronic disease will be discussed and nutritional support strategies will be presented.

Goals & Objectives
• Understand what differentiates chronic complex disease from other disease states
• Pathogenesis of chronic complex diseases from the perspective of current vs past lifestyles and the influence of modern society on the development of chronic complex disease
• The gastrointestinal tract, its anatomy and physiology with respect to proper digestion, assimilation and elimination

Bill Kleber, DC, DABCI

Dr. Kleber’s current affiliations include national speaker for Biotics Research Corporation and the co-coordinator and instructor for the Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI) national program. Dr. William Kleber is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College (Doctor of Chiropractic, 1981) and received certification as a DABCI in 2000. As a Chiropractic internist, Dr. Kleber is equipped to accept complicated cases, in addition to musculoskeletal patients. Dr.
